Experience

Our animals have appeared in over sixty feature films, numerous television shows, hundreds of commercials and training videos as well as thousands of advertisements, product packages as well as trade and fashion shows.

Animals

Ours is the largest selection of dogs both mixed and purebred in the central part of the country. Most of them with years of training from basics such as staying and coming when called, to barking on command, attack training, retrieving, hand signals, and a variety of other tricks.

We also have many workable mixed and purebred cats to choose from. Several have been trained to perform specific stunts.

In addition, we have a large file of breeders for all types of puppies and kittens to choose from.

Our selection of birds is extensive. It includes small birds such as Doves and Pigeons to some of the largest Parrot types, wildfowl and birds of prey. All with varying levels of training and experience.

Animal Talent has a large selection of farm animals, most of which have been bottle raised from birth making them easy to handle.

Finally, we have a variety of other animals that we either own or, have access to, such as rats, rabbits, squirrels, reptiles, big cats, bears, horses and other exotic animals which are utilized when needed.

Conditioning

Many of our animals are conditioned and specifically trained for this rigorous business. It takes a special animal personality to handle all the lights, cameras, and action that occur around most sets. We begin the conditioning process at a very early age to accommodate these demands. Training is useless without conditioning.

Personal

Only our handlers, not animal owners, work on your set. They have over 40 years of combined experience in the film industry. This is our most important asset. Valuable production time cannot be wasted on a handler who is tripping over lights and equipment and in the way of cameras and crew.

In addition we have a part time groomer on staff to keep our animals always looking right for the part.

Technology

Animal Talent has a computerized file of animals available throughout the country. We have photographs of many of these animals to help you and your client pick the right look for your project. We also have a selection of digital photographs that can be e-mailed within minutes.

Our state-of-the-art computerized answering service is activated 24 hours a day and pages us the minute your message is received, enabling us to respond quickly, often within minutes. This is critical when it comes to getting bids in on time.
